The Hilbert Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts joined forced with River of Hope. In two hours time, we made 35 fleece tie blankets for the UW American Family Children’s Hospital. It was an amazing sight to see everyone pitching in for the wonderful cause. Christmas is about giving and thinking of others and that is exactly what you saw during this event. Family, friends, even people who never met Riviera gathered for the cause of remembering a special little girl and teaching their child the gift of giving. A special thanks to Chris Baer, Brenda, Allison, and Emily Schneider for joining our group as well to help. Also thanks to the Scouts for donating the fleece for the event as well as their time.
